Job Description of a Shift Supervisor (Dangote Oil Refinery)
  • Develops and implements security policies, protocols and procedures
  • Also you will recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
  • You will attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches Investigate and resolve issues
  • Create reports for management on security status
Requirements to Apply as a Shift Supervisor
  • Male and Female - Must be a retired major (Nigerian Army, Superintendent of police) or its equivalent.
  • Must possess discharge certificate
  • Applicants must not be more than 50 years
  • Also, you must be physically fit and mentally sound
  • Relevant work experience as security manager or similar position
  • Hands-on experience on the use of relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Adequate knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
