This is a full time, exempt position located at the Ballard Center in Augusta, Maine. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, day time hours. Occasional off-hours (overnights) and call rotation will be required.

Job Description:
  • Performs analysis, routine system tasks and maintenance of assigned information systems and related hardware for assigned EMR systems.
  • Plans, designs, develops, and consults for assigned systems to meet end-user requirements
  • Tests and troubleshoots issues for existing and new systems.
  • Provides support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents user interface issues and recommends steps to prevent recurrences.
  • Develops innovative IT solutions to meet the needs of the organization

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, information technology, informatics, or related field, preferred
  • Experience supporting and implementing EMR applications
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills (must be comfortable multitasking and interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders).
  • A passion for customer service
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate and excel in a healthcare environment with many inherent stressors.
