Full Job Description
You will need to like a challenge to support with the development and deployment of various digital applications such as Lorenzo and Nervecentre.
These applications provide access to a number of digital clinical solutions including: electronic patient observations, digital nursing assessments and electronic prescribing and medicines administration.
This exciting role will involve supporting with:
- training and development of clinical staff
- clinical application development
- digital system optimisation
- clinical testing of digital applications
- ‘go live’ roll out of digital solutions
We are currently live with digital applications such as e-obs in a number of wards at both HRI and CHH and we are looking at significantly enhancing this in 2021/22 with the roll out of e-obs, digital nursing assessments and electronic prescribing and medicines administration across both sites.
This will include new specialities such as Critical Care, Midwifery, Outpatients, Paediatrics and Theatres.
You will need to particularly engage well with others, be able to challenge and work independently.
You will be required to learn or have knowledge of Lorenzo, Nervecentre and other digital applications.
The role has the advantage of being predominately Monday to Friday hours; however, flexibility is required especially around ‘Go Live’ deployments where weekends and other shifts will be required. Travel between sites will also be required.
The posts are 12 month secondments or fixed term contracts, full time or part time options available. You will requires agreement from your current line manager for secondment prior to appointment.
